SuperZoo plays host to multiple competitions and contests throughout its September 13-15 trade show in Las Vegas. Grooming professionals are once again invited to partake in the inspiring and motivating national grooming contests, but also invited to partake in the fun as SuperZoo partners with Grooming Business Magazine to present the Cardinal Crystal Awards for Grooming Achievement.
The prestigious awards, created in 1988 by Tony de Vos, President of Cardinal Laboratories and Shirlee Kalstone, then owner of the International Intergroom trade show for competitive grooming, take place for the first time during the SuperZoo trade show. The awards honor grooming excellence and professional skills within the industry.
Awards are given to grooming professionals in the following categories:
The American Competitive Groomer of the Year
The International Groomer of the Year
Grooming Contest Judge of the Year
The David G. Salzberg Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual or Organization
The Congeniality Award
Retail Pet Store Grooming Salon of the Year with 5 stores or less.
Retail Groomer Salon of the Year with 6 to 250 stores
Mobile Groomer Salon of the Year
