Noted Marketing Expert Lynn Switanowski to Headline SuperZoo Retail Monday Education Session
Monrovia, CA – World Pet Association (WPA) – founded in 1950 and well known for hosting industry-leading events including SuperZoo, Atlanta Pet Fair & Conference, Aquatic Experience and America’s Family Pet Expo – secured noted marketing expert Lynn Switanowski to lead a Marketing Boot Camp during SuperZoo as part of its Retail Monday education program.
Switanowski – President of Creative Business Consulting Group – partners with retailers to create and implement sales, marketing and inventory management strategies. Her four-hour session is skillfully tailored to the needs of pet retailers and touches on four major ways to keep their operation fresh: evolving with your audience, connecting with customers, modernization and engagement.
“There’s a long history of growth in the pet industry, but retail is challenging,” says Switanowski. “Consumers want the products pet retailers have to offer, but retailers have to understand how to maximize and go after these opportunities; my session will give them a holistic view so they see the same positive results as the rest of the industry.”
“Lynn’s session is going to be a must-see for retailers attending SuperZoo,” says Doug Poindexter, president of WPA. “She was handpicked by WPA to provide attendees the vital marketing tools they need to compete and thrive in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace.”
With the pet retail industry growing each year – currently with $18.5 billion in combined revenue and 3.1 percent annual growth, according to recent IBIS World research – the needs of retail store owners and groomers are rapidly changing. WPA provides top-notch education at its flagship events, making sure attendees are equipped to run successful operations and are on the cutting-edge of marketing trends, among other important topics. In 2016, SuperZoo will feature more than 80 education sessions which is more than double the amount at similar shows in North America.

About World Pet Association
Founded in 1950, the World Pet Association (WPA) is the pet industry’s oldest non-profit organization.
