Elizabeth Kunzelman

Elizabeth serves as Vice President of Legislative and Public Affairs and has worked for Petland for more than 17 years. She was named Vice President in 2022 and is responsible for managing impactful legislative activity at the federal, state and local levels. In addition to providing testimony at state and local legislatures, she promotes and advocates for sensible regulation of pet stores and works to build coalitions of stakeholders to engage with their elected officials. She works with franchisees, local and state chambers, national and state business organizations, lobbyists and marketing consultants to present unified, clear messaging about protecting American pets, supporting consumer choice and setting the standards for animal care.

She joined Petland in 2007 and has held various roles related to communications, marketing and public affairs.

In 2011, she was appointed Corporate Secretary. From 2013 – 2016, she also served as Executive Director of Petland Charities.

Elizabeth resides in Chillicothe, Ohio with her husband, Roger. They have four daughters and three grandchildren.
